Shipping

The short version

We ship New Zealand-wide, discreetly, by courier. Free shipping on orders over $79. Orders are dispatched within 24 hours on business days.

Discretion

There is no invoice, no pricing and no paperwork in your parcel, and nothing on the outside indicating what's inside. Your bank statement shows Chewse — nothing more descriptive than that.

Dispatch

Orders placed on a business day are dispatched within 24 hours. Orders placed on a weekend or public holiday go out on the next business day.

Delivery

Once your parcel is with the courier, typical delivery is:

Auckland: 1–2 business days
Rest of North Island: 2–3 business days
South Island: 3–4 business days
Rural addresses: add 1–2 business days

We'll be straight with you: these are estimates, not promises. We dispatch fast, but couriers occasionally have other ideas — next-day is common but not guaranteed. If your parcel is dragging, tell us and we'll chase it.

Tracking

You'll get tracking by email when your order is dispatched. If it hasn't moved in a few days, email us your order number and we'll follow it up with the courier ourselves.

Shipping costs

Orders $79 and over: free, NZ-wide
Orders under $79: flat rate, shown at checkout

Rural delivery and oversized parcels may attract an extra charge. If so, it appears at checkout before you pay — never after.

We can't deliver to PO Boxes

Our courier needs a physical street address. Please give us a street address and a contact phone number. An accurate, complete address is the single biggest thing that stops a parcel going astray.

If an address is wrong

If a parcel is returned or needs redirecting because the address was incomplete or incorrect, or delivery was refused or not collected, any additional freight or handling charges are payable by you. Please double-check your address at checkout — it's the one thing we can't fix for you.

Lost or damaged in transit

Contact us. We'll work it out with the courier and sort you out. You're covered under the Consumer Guarantees Act and we're not going to make you fight for it.
