1. Who we are

Chewse is a New Zealand-owned online retailer. These terms govern your use of chewse.co and any purchase you make from us.

2. You must be 18 or over

By placing an order you confirm you are at least 18 years of age. See our 18+ page.

3. Pricing

All prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST. We do our best to keep pricing accurate, but if a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price due to an error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than honour it. We'll always tell you if this happens.

4. Product images and descriptions

We use supplier product photography. Colours can vary slightly between screens. Where an image is a styling or lifestyle image rather than a literal photograph of the exact item, we say so on the product page — the written description is always the accurate one.

5. Availability

Occasionally an item sells out between you ordering and us fulfilling. If that happens we'll contact you straight away and offer a substitute of equal or greater value, or a full refund. Your choice, not ours.

6. Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986. If anything here appears to conflict with those Acts, the Acts win.

7. Payment

Payment is processed securely through Shopify Payments. We never see or store your full card details.

8. Delivery

See our Shipping page. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees, and once a parcel is with the courier, delivery timeframes are subject to the courier's terms.

9. Returns

See our Returns page. Faulty goods are always covered. Opened intimate products cannot be returned for change of mind, for hygiene reasons.

10. Intended use

Products must be used as intended and in accordance with any instructions supplied. Use body-safe lubricant with silicone toys where appropriate (water-based, not silicone-based). If you have a medical condition and you're unsure whether a product is suitable for you, talk to a doctor.

11. Our liability

To the extent permitted by law, and without limiting your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act, our liability is limited to the value of the product you purchased.

12. Privacy

See our Privacy Policy. We don't sell your data.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page at the time you order is the one that applies to your order.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by New Zealand law.
